After three long years, we were finally able to share in the ITB Berlin joy once again. Lato gathered together with more than ninety thousand fellow travel professionals in an unseen colorful “Messe” for yet another top edition. What struck us most? The exuberant atmosphere and the determination among colleagues to innovate the travel industry. “The number of enthusiastic responses we received to the integration of ChatGPT and DeepL in Lato is truly enormous.”
Not only in the media, but also at ITB Berlin, ChatGPT was a major topic of conversation. Webinars, demos, brainstorming sessions … The travel industry really does seem ready for a new wind of innovation. Travel professionals who had already heard of artificial intelligence but were still unsure what it could mean for their business, could experience it firsthand at Lato’s booth. “The bewilderment amongst visitors who saw how Lato allows you to generate, translate, share and duplicate a travel proposal at the touch of a button is very contagious”, says co-founder Wout Klingele. “We are delighted to see our enthusiasm confirmed with everyone.”
Incidentally, the Lato team ranked high on the ITB Innovation Radar, a nice recognition that was also noted by some leading experts. For example, according to Breaking Travel News, Lato is the ideal tool for creating and exchanging travel products. Hospitality Net compliments the user-friendliness and attractive design of the travel app. “At Lato, we welcome any kind of feedback as this is the only way we can continue to grow. The engaging interactions at ITB give us the energy and motivation to continue developing innovative technology solutions for the travel industry.”
